About Us
We’re a father and son team who collaborate to create foamboard model airplane kits/plans. I (Jack Niezgoda) handle the design and construction of the planes, while my father (Steve Niezgoda) is responsible for making them look great with paint. We’ve been honing our craft since the summer of 2017, and since then, our passion for building and flying foamboard model airplanes has truly taken off.
One of our main goals for 13th Squadron is to give you the best chance to grow in the hobby as a builder and designer. Whether it’s learning new construction techniques from our latest releases or finding the specialized hardware you need for your own projects, we want to help you take your skills to the next level.
